Final Project- Nolan Mickelsen

Arcanum is Latin for mysterious, embracing the relative outlook of the photograph. Arcanum is a project that combines multiple exposures that were shot during extremely foggy weather to provide a mysterious, yet aesthetic aspect to an otherwise bleak landscape. All of the pictures were created in camera with no photo editing. These pieces are an attempt to create a mysterious aesthetic that is cultivated from a complex idea that appears to be simple. This technique has allowed me to explore an experimental style through a creative and unorthodox method.
