Final Project- Emily Harvey

I asked each person the same question: "What makes you happy on a daily basis?" The questioned formed very different and unique photographs. I decided that it was a search for happiness that I was trying to find; what's important to each individual that I photographed. However, throughout the shooting process, I realized that every photo has significant meaning. Each photo is centered around the individual-the location, the objects, the person they are with, and the clothes they are waring. It made me realized what makes me happy in life isn't the big things, but indeed the daily things that make up the bigger picture. "Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you'll look back and realize they were the big things."
