Composition - Amanda Drake

 

    For the picture of the sprinkler I wanted the focus to be how the water affects the dandelion. That's why the dandelion is in the center of the frame with the water coming from the side.

    In this picture I liked how the chain link provides a square background for the ivy flower. I also like the contrast between the red and green leaves, that's why I put the red flower in the middle of the frame.

    With the cow I chose to frame this vertically to contrast the horizontal lines going across the frame. The stripes of the cow also go vertically. The contrast between these lines makes the picture interesting.
