My name is Hunter Louise Holden. I am 18 years young and probably one of the happiest people you know. Also, I smile a lot. There are many small and simple things in this world that I find joy in. I like to think of myself as a ‘child at heart.’ A ‘young soul’ if you will. One night, as I was helping my friend close up at my local craft store I saw a bag of googly eyes and smiled because, in that moment, I was happy. I was happy just at the sight of a bag of googly eyes. I turned to my friend and said “I love googly eyes!” My friend exclaimed back, “See Hunter, this is why you work in a daycare.” I chose to focus on the idea of how simple googly eyes are yet they bring so much joy, or in some cases, humor, to any situation. I think it is especially fun when they are put on different types of food, which is exactly what I did. I hope these pictures bring as much laughter and happiness to you as they bring me.
