Final Project - Seth Jones

Author Statement:

It's a balancing act. This project came about when I started taking raw fish to my father's grave and the thought of all the stuff I could do with the fish swam into my head. At first, it was thinking of using them as swords and then it was imaging tucking one in the front of my pants kind of like how a cholo packs his heater. It was all theory and ideas until there was an opportunity to do it for a photo project in a college course. So in essence this book is my ideas in the flesh. It's to show the duality of the humorous sides of life as well as the more serious elements. You'll see that most of the pictures have a very dark sentiment, but because they involve dead fish, a funny element is added. Once again, it's all a balancing act.
