Final Project - Kira Jacobson

Finding Light in The Dark

I have always sought out adventure in everything I do. Our landscapes may seem so ordinary as we go about our daily lives since many rarely have time to stop and observe. And yet, as I stare through my viewfinder while my camera sits upon its tripod, I see a world of endless possibilities. Illumination, motion, and lines inspired me to seek out the light in the darkness. I used long shutter speeds paired with a low ISO to capture my photographs. The results included trails of light that appeared to create shapes and illusions to the viewer. Finding Light in the Darkness is about seeking out something new and extraordinary in what may otherwise seem like a dark landscape.
