Final Sarah Dyreng

In the fall of 2010 a beautifully detailed doorknob caught my attention, so I shot a few pictures of it. That first image was the inspiration for the photographs in this book. These doorknobs were photographed in Manti, Ephraim, or Spring City, Utah. Some of the doorknobs are ornate and beautiful, while others are old and dirty. Each doorknob is different but each reminds me of the same thing: the different choices we make everyday. The choices we make effect us for the rest of our lives. In this life we make our own choices, but we are not free to choose the consequences. Because of this we must carefully examine each door we open.
