Photo Every Day/Final Project Benjamin Nelson

Hands come in all different shapes and sizes. This is what I thought about when I decided to do this project. I decided to photograph my own fingernails. I mixed photography and cosmetology in one package. I painted my fingernails everyday for 12 weeks. I was kind of a fingernail polish model in a way. And let me tell you it's not fun for a man to do this. I did the finger nail series because I wanted people to understand that there is no one way to do art. I would like you to feel the emotional rawness of my art.-Benjamin Nelson
