The Cowboy Rides Away
There are those who believe a pair of dirty, old boots means that a person is unkempt or rough. They could be blue collar and one can only assume form there that there are very little funds. You wouldn't know it unless you lived it, but they mean the exact opposite. There is not a richer man in the world compared to the American Cowboy. IT is true that money may be scarce at times but it is the lifestyle that is of more value then silver or gold. I was Born and raised on one of the biggest cattle ranches in the state of Utah. I grew up knowing that any foul word was okay to say if you were in the corral. The Cowboy Rides Away is a project that is dear to my heart. It was my desire to show the ups and downs of cowboy life and I did this by pairing each image with a classic country or western song. This is a lonesome life and it takes a special kind of man or women to thrive in it.
