Ant-Man vs. Yellowjacket at Snow
My project is entitled "Ant-Man vs. Yellowjacket at Snow." My twin brother made an Ant-man Halloween costume for himself and then he made a Yellowjacket costume for me. He did a fantastic job and I wanted to be able to show them off. He put a lot of time and hard work into making these costumes and I felt they deserved to be seen more than just one day a year. I decided to photograph what life would be like if Ant-Man was a student at Snow College and what would happen if his old enemy Yellowjacket showed up.
Ant-man and Yellowjacket can shrink and grow. To convey this I lowered the shutter speed just enough so that a person moving normally would blur. Then I had Ant-Man and Yellowjacket fight in such a way that they looked like they were shrinking and growing while they fought.
I have always imagined being a supper hero and fighting bad guys. This project gave me the chance to help fulfill part of that dream.
