FOREWORD

Perspective is everything.

Nothing quite taught me that more than my recent experience with the transition from high school to college. I was forced to look at things in a new light, to see them from a different angle.

I felt like a little Lego character: a miniscule, overwhelmed person in an outrageously large world. But it wasn't until I focused and minimized my scope of view that I was able to hurdle mountains by taking things one step at a time. When I looked at the smaller scale of life, things just seemed more doable.

So here are Legos, mini versions of myself, doing what would normally seem impossible for their size. Yes, they struggle, but they are taking things one step at a time. My hope is that you will do the same. Take a step forward, and
